Conservatives Pounce After Harris Interview Clips Published by CNN
This week, Kamala Harris finally did a media interview, although she has still not held a press conference since getting the nomination.
From the early clips, the interview did not appear to help Harris.
It only took minutes after the clips were published for conservatives to pounce on her latest word salad.
Serving It Up
Harris did a lot of double-talking during the interview, often trying to give a non-answer or a vague answer, but Bash, to her credit, often pressed Harris for a better answer.
In one of the early clips, Bash asked Harris, "Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you've made? … Is it because you have more experience now, and you've learned more about the information?
“Is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary? And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you're saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?"
Harris responded, "Dana, I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.
"You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed, and I've worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act.”
So, her values have not changed, yet after being adamant in 2019 that fracking should be banned, she now says that she is not going to ban fracking.
The “deadlines around time” line…. What the heck is she talking about?
The word salad was not missed by her critics, who obliterated her on social media after the clip aired.
Conservative commentator Steve Guest called it, "Gobbledygook.”
Noah Rothman, senior writer at the National Review, said this was nothing more than Harris’ usual “rambling.”
This is why Harris has not been giving interviews… she doesn’t know how.
Tim Walz was no better, blaming his statement about carrying weapons of war in war as a “grammar” error.
Remember, my friends… Democrats don’t lie, they just misspeak.
I think the face of Bash said it all, as you could clearly see frustration and amazement at the utterly ridiculous answers she was being given.
