Conservative Star Arrested After Daily Wire Movie Premiere

The Daily Wire is definitely poking the bear, recently premiering a production called “Lady Ballers.”

The movie is a comedy mocking men in women’s sports, which Siaka Massaquoi appears in.

Massaquoi also happened to be at the Capitol on January 6, which is why he was arrested by the FBI when he returned from the premiere.

Take Him into Custody

So, there is a video of Massaquoi at the Capitol that day.

He is just inside the threshold of the door, calmy filming and talking to police, even offering to help move the crowd back out the door at one point…

Unless there is something else that I missed, that was the reason his home was raided by about 20 FBI agents in tactical gear about little more than two years ago.

After the movie premiere, he went back to California from Tennessee, where he was once again greeted by the FBI.

A fundraising site to help him pay his legal bills stated, “Upon their arrival, Siaka was separated from his wife and abruptly arrested by the FBI.

“At the time, Charlotte was told the charges had to do with January 6th; however, she was not presented with any arrest warrant.”

Seth Dillon, CEO of the satire website The Babylon Bee, has also commented on the arrest, as Massaquoi has been featured in some comedy shorts about the influx of California residents to Texas, which are hilarious, by the way, if you have not yet seen them.

Dillon stated, “If you’ve watched our Californians Move to Texas series, then you’re already familiar with Siaka. You know how funny and talented he is.

“But he isn’t just a talented actor and friend of the Babylon Bee; he also happens to be a Trump supporter. And he’s being punished for it by our government.”

He also posted a copy of the warrant…

Jeremy Boreing, who directed “Lady Ballers,” stated, “Siaka is a good man and a huge talent.

“The FBI arresting a man at the airport three years after the event – and after raiding his house and not charging him already – and then only charging him with misdemeanors is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever heard.”

There will be considerable pushback on this from the right side of the aisle, and I fully expect Republicans to get involved, considering the lack of prosecutions from the rioting after the death of George Floyd.
