A murder has been solved in a rather bizarre fashion.
In the early morning hours, police came upon Jay Albert Stevens, 52, who flagged them down.
When the officers stopped to see if he was okay, he confessed to murdering someone.
Just Bizarre
When officers saw Stevens, he was standing in the middle of Central Highway.
When the officer stopped to check on him, Stevens told him he had just shot a man.
Then he led the officer to the body.
When they entered the home that Stevens had taken them to, they found a 61-year-old man that had been killed.
Stevens was immediately arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
He is currently being held at the Cochise County Jail.
