Comer: Biden administration covered up ActBlue activities

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) just made a bombshell allegation against the Biden administration.

According to Comer, the Biden administration was covered up suspicious activity by the fundraising arm of the Democrat Party, ActBlue.

To that point, the House Oversight Committee is now launching an investigation to the platform for possible fraud.

Game On

Comer is the Chair of House Oversight Committee, so this very much falls into his wheelhouse in terms of being able to investigate.

According to Comer, the administration sat on suspicious activity reports (SARs) to cover up the alleged illegal activities of ActBlue.

Comer claimed that when they had requested documentation, they were only permitted to see about a dozen reports, to which he stated, “They allowed my staff to go in and view like 10 or 12. They were really bad. But I can say with confidence, there are hundreds more.”

The House Oversight Committee, along with the Committee on House Administration, has sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to obtain the rest of the documentation.

In part, that letter stated, “The Committees remain concerned with recent reports suggesting fraud and evasion of campaign finance law by individuals exploiting online contribution platforms, especially ActBlue. Until recently, ActBlue had not implemented standard procedures to guard against identity theft and fraud, such as by requiring a Card Verification Value (CVV) to process online transactions.

“The organization is also the subject of several state-level investigations stemming from allegedly fraudulent contributions made via the platform without the reported contributors’ awareness —serious allegations that, if proven true, would violate federal law.”

With Trump’s officials now in place, Comer believes the coverup will no longer take place, as the Trump administration has, thus far, been very cooperative with congressional requests to view these types of records.

Something to note… as more attention is being paid to the activities of ActBlue, there has bee more than a half-dozen senior officials who have resigned their positions, raising even more suspicion about what was taking place there.

There are now even questions to ActBlue being able to continue to operate due to the mass exodus of key personnel.
