CNN Legal Analyst Loses It Over Daniels’ Testimony

This week, adult film star Stormy Daniels was called to the stand to testify in the Trump hush-money case.

To be perfectly honest, there was no reason to have her testify due to the nature of the charges against Trump, which were accounting-related.

This was nothing more than a stunt by prosecutors, and one that even legal analysts on liberal outlets had to admit was a big mistake.

Oops

Prosecutors spent far too much time having Daniels recount her alleged affair with Trump.

If you have been following this saga, you know some of the details that she gave during her testimony were not the same ones that she had been discussing on social media for the last few years.

This was nothing more than prosecutors trying to taint the jury’s impression of Trump, especially when they started to discuss intimate details regarding the night in question.

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig blasted Daniels for how she responded to questions during cross-examination.

He stated, "Her responses were disastrous.”

Honig then explained, "When the witness hates the person whose liberty is at stake, that’s a big d--- deal!

"And she’s putting out tweets, fantasizing about him being in jail. That really undermines the credibility."

Honig added, "The fact that she owes him $500,000 by order of a court, owes Donald Trump a half million dollars, and said, ‘I will never pay him. I will defy a court order,’ the defense is gonna say, ‘She’s willing to defy a court order. She’s not willing to respect an order from a judge. Why is she gonna respect this oath she took?’

“So, I thought it went quite poorly on cross-exam.”

So far, I have yet to see a single witness called by prosecutors who have actually helped Bragg’s case.

Now, as we all know, that means nothing in terms of how the jury will rule when it comes time to cast the verdict.

Having said that, I have very little doubt that if Trump loses the first round, he will win this case on appeal.
