For most of Joe Biden’s term, he has been blaming inflation on everything but his agenda.
One of his biggest supporters in Congress, Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), is telling a different story.
According to Clyburn, Dems knew all along their agenda would bring about high inflation.
Slap in the Face
Imagine being told during the election that your candidate was going to make things better for you.
All the while, they knew the exact opposite would happen.
That is what Clyburn is saying here.
Not one, literally ZERO Democrats said Joe Biden’s plan would create inflation.
Yet, Clyburn explained, “All of us knew this would be the case when we put in place this recovery program.
“Any time you put more money into the economy, prices tend to rise.
“And we do know that price gouging takes place and that’s what Senator Warnock is concerned about in Georgia.
“We knew the moment we went to aid the Ukrainians, the Russians would do what they could possibly do to undercut this administration, so they cut this deal with OPEC nations to reduce the production of oil so as to drive the price of gasoline up.”
Clyburn might as well have spit in our faces.
All I know is that the GOP needs to grab that soundbite and turn it into a campaign ad right away.
