Schumer admits he helped convince Biden to drop out of 2024 race

A recent article from Fox News details the process that Sen. Chuck Schumer used to help force Joe Biden out of the presidential race, and the story contains some very interesting revelations.

Schumer and the Democrats KNEW that Joe Biden was failing, but Biden's staff and others intentionally kept the severity of his decline quiet.

Schumer has long been one of the biggest players in the entire Democratic Party.

Like it or not, when Schumer makes a decision, he tends to have a lot of influence.

While the article indicates that Schumer was one of the major reasons that Biden abandoned his re-election bid, it also suggests that Schumer helped cover up the obvious decline of our 46th president.

The New York Times recently detailed some of the conversations Schumer had with Biden when urging him to leave the race against Donald Trump.

"If you run and you lose to Trump, and we lose the Senate, and we don’t get back the House, that 50 years of amazing, beautiful work goes out the window," Schumer told Biden. "But worse -- you go down in American history as one of the darkest figures."

Then came the knife...

"If I were you," Schumer told Biden, "I wouldn’t run, and I’m urging you not to run."

While Schumer may have been panicking behind closed doors, that's far from what he was doing in public. In fact, reports suggest that Schumer was going out of his way to convince other Democrats to also hide the truth about Biden's decline.

According to the New York Times, "In private, Schumer was urging donors and allies to be quiet about their concern over Biden's age and ability to finish out the campaign." He reportedly said:

Do not be public. That will get his back up, and you’ve got to let the dust settle. But if you can, call whoever you know in the campaign. Call the White House.

Even when Democratic Party donors had their concerns about Joe Biden, the White House and other members of leadership seemed unwilling to hold Joe Biden accountable.

If they would have been honest with us, maybe they would have had a shot at the ballot box in November. Given the way it happened, America can no longer trust Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or any other Democrats involved in the mess.
