Former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace is finally getting the news… nobody likes him.
CNN has been trying to find a home for Wallace ever since its streaming service died a horrible death.
He has been given the Sunday night spot for “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace.”
The show should have been titled, “Is Anyone Listening to Chris Wallace?”
Bad Debut
Wallace had a decent following on Fox News because, well, it was Fox News.
He was snatched up by CNN to help launch the networks streaming service, but it died shortly after it launched.
So, CNN had to put Wallace on the air after signing him to that monster contract.
The premier of his new show drew only 401,000 viewers, which is pathetic.
He drew a mere 44,000 from the key 25-54 age group.
The show will also be available on HBO Max, so those numbers will go up as time passes, but this can be explained as nothing but a failure for Wallace.
Wallace is even trying to dip away from politics to regain viewers, lining up entertainment stars to chat with on the new show, but it does not appear to be helping.
If he cannot get viewers with Shania Twain as his guest, he surely will not be getting anyone to watch when he gushes over the likes of Nancy Pelosi.
