GOP presidential candidate and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie vowed to confront former President Donald Trump face-to-face.
Despite unclear details, Christie ramped up his promise to take on Trump in person during his longshot campaign.

"Get ready. That’s all I’m going to tell you," Christie told Fox News on Thursday.
"Because if I give [Trump] and the Secret Service a tip as to where I’m going to be, it will be a lot harder for me to get to him. Remember, he’s the only guy walking around with Secret Service protection. So, that makes all of this a little more complicated. But I also was in law enforcement, so hang with me," he added.

Christie "warned former President Trump on social media Thursday that he will have to face him 'one way or another,'" according to the Hill.
"Don’t worry, @realDonaldTrump,” said Christie, one of Trump’s opponents in the 2024 GOP presidential primary, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Debate stage or coming out of a building, you’ll have to face me one way or another. Get ready.”
The emphasis on New Hampshire comes as Trump continues to hold a massive lead in Iowa. Christie has instead focused on the New England-area state to emphasize his campaign in an effort to upset the former president's comeback bid.
Christie, once a Trump supporter, has since turned on him, launching ongoing attacks in his own bid to win the GOP nomination.
The former New Jersey governor also blasted Trump over calling for the cancellation of all GOP primary debates because he was leading the pack.
The new comments by Christie may motivate Trump's opponents but appear to be more talk from a contender without a path to win.
