China is 'greatest long-term threat'

It might be shocking to learn, but there is one enemy of America that currently stands out as more dangerous than the rest:

China.

FBI Director Christopher Wray recently told America as much in a frightening summary of what the country has been up to.

According to Wray, no other threat in the world is currently even close to the level that China is. The amount of problems that they could cause for every citizen in America almost immediately is nearly unfathomable.

Think about all of the goods that we import from China.

Think about all of the money we owe China.

If they get a bee in their bonnet over there, we could be in serious trouble.

Wray thinks that we might already be there, calling China without-a-doubt the "greatest long term threat" to American life.

"The greatest long-term threat to our nation's ideas, innovation and economic security, our national security, is that from China," Wray said. "The Chinese government aspires to equal or surpass the U.S. as a global superpower and influence the world with a value system shaped by undemocratic, authoritarian ideals."

Because of this, America is trying to fight back, but progress has been difficult so far.

Wray said they're beginning with a strong focus on cybercrime originating in China:

"On the cyber front, China's vast hacking program is the world's largest by a mile, and they have stolen more of American's personal and business data than every other nation combined," Wray said.

Bold claims indeed. If true, action needs to be taken sooner rather than later.
