Cheung Spits Venom After Mar-a-Lago Fake Health Hoax

Once again, the media has failed to properly vet one of its own reports, more worried about being the first than in being accurate.

This time the report was filed by a CBS News reporter who spotted some unusual activity involving an ambulance at Mar-a-Lago.

As it turns out, it was not a Trump health crisis, as the media had hoped, and Trump’s communications guru, Steven Cheung, let it rip.

Spitting Venom

I am going to start this off by saying that I am not really a fan of Cheung.

To me, he has the mind of a child in a position of significant importance.

Cheung is now serving as the transition communications boss for Trump, and he will head the administration’s communication staff once Trump takes office.

Cheung is crass, rude, and often uses foul language in his social media posts because he thinks it makes him sound like a tough guy.

I am not being a prude, but I believe the chief communications officer for the president should be a wordsmith, not an insult artist, which is all Cheung really is.

To that point, a CBS reporter took the presence of an ambulance and some activity as being a health emergency for Trump. In reality, it was just VP-elect J.D. Vance’s motorcade.

Andrew Feinberg, the White House correspondent for Britain's The Independent, reported that CBS’ TV pool spotted "about 20-25 cars, two ambulances and a helicopter hovering above" Trump's estate.

About 30 minutes later, Feinberg reported, “CALM DOWN, PEOPLE. Per a transition source and @SecretService, the ambulances were part of Vice President-elect @JDVance's motorcade. False alarm. Go about your business."

Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi confirmed there was nothing out of the norm happening at the president-elect’s residence, stating, "We are not tracking any Secret Service-directed medical transports from Mar-a-Lago, and from our personnel on the ground.

"There are no issues or concerns with any Secret Service protectees on property.”

Cheung, in an eloquent manner of which only he is capable, also responded, posting, "The press has set up a fake, unofficial 'pool' because they want to feel important about themselves.

"In this case, some idiot at CBS overreacted and set off the fire alarm for no reason thinking they were going to get the scoop of a lifetime. F***ing dummy."

So, this is the past and future president’s top spokesperson dropping F-bombs on social media.

As far as that initial report goes, the media is dying for there to be a health problem with Trump after Trump concentrated on Biden’s health since 2020.

They would like to see nothing more than Trump collapsing or Alzheimer’s set in so they can go after the 78-year-old president-elect.

And for the record, I don’t blame Cheung for going after the reporting, which could have very easily been vetted prior to posting, but there is just a better way to go about it if you are speaking for the president-elect.
