There has finally been someone charged in the death of Harmony Montgomery.
The 5-year-old was murdered three years ago, but nobody had been charged.
That changed on Monday.
Sickening Murder
Adam Montgomery, Harmony's father, has been charged with the murder
Authorities believe that he beat her in the head with a closed fist until she was dead.
New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said that Montgomery was responsible for "recklessly causing the death of Harmony Montgomery, a person under 13 years of age, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life."
Montgomery was already in jail for child abuse in connection with his daughter's disappearance.
He has a record as a heroin addict and for having shot a man in 2014.
He is also a person of interest in a cold-case murder.
Montgomery's wife, Kayla Montgomery, is also facing charges for having collected welfare on behalf of Harmony for more than a year after she disappeared.
These are just two disgusting humans that we can only hope meet the justice they truly deserve.
