CBS News Refers To Biden As 'Former President'

CBS News just referred to Joe Biden in the same way that conservatives have been ready to for a while now...

"Former president."

Yes, PLEASE.

That day can't come soon enough.

Somebody in the marketing department is at least going to be getting a talking to after the official CBS News account put out a tweet recently referring to Dirty Joe Biden as America's "former president."

CBS News deleted the tweet as quickly as it could, but this is the Internet we're talking about.

Something only has to be up for a moment before it lasts forever.

It appears as though this tweet is going to be one of those famous things.

The tweet read, "WATCH LIVE: Former President Biden holds news conference at Camp David with leaders of the Japan and South Korea."

CBS later addressed the error on Twitter, saying that "A previous tweet contained an error that had ‘former" before President Biden. It has been corrected."

Many people reacted to the mistake by CBS, probably because most of America wishes that what the network wrote was true.

Bill Clinton sexual assault accuser Juanita Broaddrick quoted the CBS tweet and said, "CBS just referred to Joe as ‘Former President Biden’. Do they know something we don’t?"

Conservative author Bonnie Fontes called the mistake "wishful thinking."

Townhall columnist Brad Slager wanted to know, "Did you all mistakenly use a template that is intended to go into use later this year?"

If CBS would have just waited a little longer to post the tweet, it may have ended up being true sooner rather than later.
