Madison Cawthorn Abandons Offices Two Months Before End of Term

The once-rising star of the Republican Party is now closing down shop.

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) was tagged as a star during the 2020 campaign season.

After a series of bizarre controversies, his star has fallen just as quickly as it rose.

Where Did He Go?

With two full months to go before the end of his term, Cawthorn has seemingly packed it in.

Photos have surfaced of his DC office now completely empty.

According to local reports, his office in Hendersonville, North Carolina, is locked and dark.

It also appears as though all furniture has been removed.

When his office is called, there is a message that they are no longer taking calls “due to our office beginning to close for the term.”

Well, you still have two months to collect salary!

While not doing his congressional duties, Cawthorn did travel to Florida for Trump’s big announcement, so I guess he is now going to attach himself to Trump in the hopes of getting a position within the administration.

I think it is an utter disgrace that with almost two full months remaining in office, he has decided to mail it in yet he will continue to get paid.
