Carrie Underwood’s Home in Tennessee Catches Fire with Family Inside

Is there a person breathing in this country that does not love Carrie Underwood?

The one-time “American Idol” contestant is arguably the most successful contestant to have been on that show, making her the sweetheart of the nation.

So, it was huge news when we found out her Tennessee home caught fire with her family inside.

Get Them to Safety

According to reports, a fire broke out in the garage of Underwood’s home late Sunday night.

Williamson County Fire-Rescue showed up to fight the fire, putting it out with a water tanker.

After the initial fire was put out, firefighters remained on the scene for a while because the fire continued to flare up in hot spots inside the home's walls.

At the time the fire broke out, Carrie Underwood and her entire family were inside the home, giving her fans a big scare.

While Underwood is one of the busiest performers in showbiz, she has made it no secret that she always makes time to spend with her family.

During a recent interview, she stated, “Our lives are so crazy as it is. But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. That’s what it’s all about.”

Thankfully, nobody was injured.

Underwood representatives issued a statement:

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained.

“There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

Underwood has been married to former NHL player Mike Fisher since 2010.

They have two sons, born in 2015 and 2019.
