Tucker Carlson Interviews Capitol Police Officer Ignored by January 6 Committee

Fox News' Tucker Carlson has really dialed up a sh** storm by releasing the footage the January 6 committee left on the editing floor.

Now he is stirring the pot again.

This time, it was with a bombshell interview with a Capitol Police officer the committee did not want to put on TV, reports the Daily Mail.

Boom!

Tarik Johnson, a 22-year veteran of the Capitol Hill force, was among the officers that was tasked with securing the certification of the election in 2020. The January 6 Select Committee did not interview him. He was, however, interviewed by Tucker Carlson.

Johnston told Carlson, "My voice is one of the first ones you hear on the audio transmission, so I did expect to get an interview sometime, but it didn't happen. I guess the focus was on Donald Trump."

According to Johnson, very little information regarding the expected crowd and other issues regarding possible security problems was shared with frontline officers that day. Point being, this probably call could have been avoided.

Johnson continued, "We should have been better prepared that day, and we could have been better prepared that day if the information was disseminated like it was supposed to be."

Johnson's career was terminated because he was seen on video with a MAGA hat. Ironically, Johnson voted for Joe Biden, and only had the hat on because one of the protesters gave it to him to wear. He figured it was protection against the crowd turning on him, so he kept it on.

He stated, "I couldn't say what would have happened walking through that crowd without it."

Carlson asked him, "Since you were there on January 6, what did you think of the job of the January 6 Committee?"

Johnson responded, "I prayed almost daily that they would get to me. I was never asked to testify… I was never asked by anybody connected to the January 6 Committee to testify. I asked myself why every day, and every day I might have a different answer. But, you know, pretty much they focused on Donald Trump and not the failures of the Capitol Police."

Carlson followed up, "Why do you think [the protesters] were there?"

Johnson replied, "I think that some people there had planned on being violent, some people may have turned violent after what they were going through. I think that people wanted to support their president, they wanted to- some of those people wanted just to support him. And some of those people didn't commit violence and some of those people didn't plan on it."

You can see his interview in the video below…

What do I take away from all this?

Call me crazy, but it is almost as though the people in charge of the security wanted this situation to get out of hand.

Who is the person at the top of that food chain? As the then-Speaker of the House, that would be Nancy Pelosi.
