Well, we finally have the answer.
I have long been asking what would happen to the GOP presidential race if Donald Trump gets indicted and convicted.
Trump provided that answer this past weekend… he will not drop out, reported The Hill.

Trump was recently asked if being indicted and imprisoned would stop his campaign.
He stated, “Not at all. There’s nothing in the Constitution to say that it could. Even the radical Left crazies are saying, ‘No, that wouldn’t stop!’ And it wouldn’t stop me either,” reported the Daily Wire.
After that interview, Trump went on Truth Social calling for the jailing of special counsel Jack Smith.
Trump posted, “They ought to throw Deranged Jack Smith and his Thug Prosecutors in jail, with Meritless Garland and Trump Hating Lisa Monaco.
“They have totally Weaponized the Department of Injustice. Whatever happened to the Crooked Joe Biden Boxes Case?
“Why was Hillary Clinton allowed to delete 33,000 emails, many of them Classified, AFTER getting a Subpoena from Congress?
“Why was Bill Clinton allowed to take tapes out of the W.H. in his socks? Why has no other President ever been charged? ELECTION FRAUD!”
Trump continues to claim that he never shared classified documents with anything, most notably the reporter from the audio where Trump was heard discussing classified documents.
Trump responded, “I would say it was bravado; if you want to know the truth, it was bravado. I was talking and just holding up papers and talking about them, but I had no documents. I didn’t have any documents.”
So, I guess now the question gets moved from Trump over to his supporters.
If you are supporting Trump in this election, and if he goes to jail and is in jail during the primary election with no chance of being released before the presidential general election, would you still vote for him and possibly have a sitting US president running the country from a jail cell?
