California Democrat Flips Party, Supports Trump

Over the last few months, the Democrat Party has seen a mass exodus, much like the GOP saw during the Trump presidency.

Quite a few high-profile Democrats have had enough of Biden and do not want to see Harris continue his policies.

The latest to see the light is the former Democratic leader of the California State Senate and the former state re-election chair for President Barack Obama's campaign, Gloria Romero.

Time to Go

It is rather ironic that the Democrats that are leaving lately are from the bluest state in the country, California.

Romero is not just any Democrat; she was one of the most powerful Democrats in the state.

She explained why she left, stating, "When I saw RFK [Jr.] say, ‘You know what? I am leaving the party. I am going to support Trump,’ I said I'm going to join him and support President Trump as well.

"There's a number of issues, but overall, the party left me.

“I don't know what it is anymore. If this is the new way forward for Democrats, good luck. Many of us will be leaving."

She also recently penned an op-ed explaining her position, adding, "President Ronald Reagan warned that if fascism comes to America it will come as liberalism, and he was right: I have witnessed individual freedoms being trapped, silenced, censored.”

She concluded, "Under Donald Trump and the Republican Party, it really has become, I believe, an agenda for an America that we all want to see for ourselves and our children and our future. Keeping us safe, including having a secure border."

The funny thing about this election is that if Donald Trump was even a tad more likable, it would not even be close.

However, the hatred for Trump on both sides of the aisle has turned this election into yet another coin flip, and we are all going to have to sweat this one out until the final votes are counted.
