We have yet another case of rules for thee but not for thee.
Imagine the audacity of an elected official to tell her people they do not deserve any police protection.
Yet, she goes out and spends $500k on personal security!
That is the tale of Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
Not For You!
Bush lives in one of the most dangerous cities in the world, yet she wants to pull police funding.
Her excuse... “I’m going to make sure I have security because I know I have had attempts on my life and I have too much work to do.”
What about the innocent people in her city whose lives are being threatened every day?
Again, when voters in these cities elect these people to office, they deserve what they get.
However, the problem, in this case, is that Bush can impact all of our lives, not just the lives of the people who elected her.
