British Royal Family funding increases by $56M amid citizenry's economic struggles

The Royal Family has landed in hot water after the recent news of the Sovereign Grant has spread.

The grant, which is paid out by the U.K.’s treasury, will rise to a shocking $165 MILLION dollars.

Considering the fact that the U.K. government has long since been having issues finding ways to meet their budgets for other items, the news has INFURIATED many Brits who are already struggling to make ends meet.

While many in the United Kingdom are struggling to decide whether to "heat or eat," the Royal Family is taking in $56,000,000 MORE than they did last year via the Sovereign Grant.

Royal Expert Ian Pelham Turner discussed the facts of the matter with Fox News.

Turner did not hold back.

“It’s accepted that the funding will be used to repair Buckingham Palace, but in reality, the potential private wealth of the royal family collectively could cover the cost,” Turner said in the interview.

“It is another nail in the coffin for the royal family… especially when many have lost their winter fuel allowance from the government. Many have to decide whether to eat or heat their homes for winter,” the royal expert continued.

The CEO of Republic, Graham Smith, also let it fly to Town & Country, calling the treasury “public money.”

“All of this money comes from the government at a time when the government is not able to properly fund schools, hospitals, police… it is scandalous. Not only should it not be going up at all, it should be going down,” Smith ranted.

However, one royal expert who goes by the name of Hilary Fordwich says that the pay raise is not for King Charles.

“Other expenses include state banquets, entertaining foreign heads of state, maintenance costs of royal palaces used for state purposes, running the royal household in general, including all staff required for diplomatic functions, as well as garden parties to which the public are invited and maintenance of royal properties. Other funds are donated towards their projects and charities for the public good,” she explained.

Some people feel as though there are people struggling who need this money much more than the Royal Family does.

That should matter more than any “state banquet” or “entertainment” they could possibly need the money for.

Where do you stand on this issue? Does the Royal Family need this money or have the taxpayers been ROBBED?
