Breitbart’s Alex Marlow Calls for Investigation into Iowa Pollster

The Des Moines Register published pollster Ann Selzer published a poll in the early days of November that showed Kamala Harris three points ahead of Trump in Iowa.

The poll was clearly an outlier, and I called it that at the time, but now Trump is out for blood, suing for election interference.

Breitbart’s Alex Marlow is now joining the cause, calling for her to be investigated over the poll.

This is Utterly Ridiculous

The echo chambers on Truth Social and X are all patting Trump on the back for going after the pollster.

There are others in the media, such as Marlow, who are calling for an investigation into possible election interference.

In defending his stance, Marlow stated, “[Trump’s] announced he wants a lawsuit against Ann Selzer for rigging her Iowa poll to influence the election, of course he should do this. It absolutely was election interference. This was an insurrection.”

In my opinion, Marlow has lost all credibility with that statement. It was surely not election interference and it is about as far from an insurrection as could be.

This was not election interference… it was a bad poll, which happens.

Anytime you are polling a small group, in this case 808 people, to represent a population of eligible voters of about 2.2 million, you are rolling the dice.

People who respond to these polls lie and many conservatives don’t like to give their opinion in the Trump-era of politics.

We see outlier polls in every election, and they are dismissed, which is what needed to happen here, but Donald Trump takes issue with anything that dares to challenge him, so now he is suing the paper and the pollster.

Trump won Iowa by 13 points on election day, and there was not a single poll out there that had that margin, and there was only one that was in the ballpark, which was the Emerson College poll, that had Trump winning by nine points.

The suit is childish and a temper tantrum on Trump’s part, and the statement by Marlow is just idiotic on all fronts. He is doing nothing more than kissing up to Trump because he has to know this suit will go nowhere when all is said and done.

I know I am going to get hate mail on this one, but I am just being brutally honest here. This entire narrative is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
