Police were conducting a wellness check on 77 year old Hoffenberg after a friend requested the check when they found him.
"Hoffenberg’s body was already decomposing upon being found, and dental records were required to confirm the body was his. Medical examiners believe Hoffenberg had died a week before being discovered," reported Breitbart.
"Hoffenberg was the CEO, Chairman, and the President of Towers Financial Corporation, a debt collection company that was later revealed to be a Ponzi scheme," according to Breitbart News.
"Epstein, who authorities say committed suicide while awaiting trial in a Manhattan prison, was considered a key player in the Ponzi scheme, Hoffenberg claimed," Breitbart reported.
"I thought Jeffrey was the best hustler on two feet," Hoffenberg said.
"Talent, charisma, genius, criminal mastermind. We had a thing that could make a lot of money. We called it Ponzi," Hoffenberg added.
