Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker is in an all out personal battle with his son who claims he paid for a woman to have an abortion.
"Herschel Walker responded to a social media tirade from his son earlier this week, noting that he loves him 'unconditionally and I always have,'" reported Washington Examiner.
"The Republican candidate’s son Christian Walker had unleashed attacks against his father on Twitter in response to reports that Herschel Walker paid for a woman to have an abortion after the pair conceived a child while dating in 2009," reports Washington Examiner.
Fox Attacks GOP
Herschel Walker has denied the reports.
Christian Walker accused his father of deciding to "air out all of his dirty laundry in public" and "lying about it."
Hershel Walker blew past questions about the reports and said he's "been redeemed."
"So what you’re saying is, you haven’t been the perfect dad, you haven’t been the perfect spouse, but you’ve been redeemed?" asked Fox News host Brian Kilmeade. "Is that what you’re saying?"
The tweets from Hershel's son Christian are pretty damning though.
"You’re not a 'family man' when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence," Christian Walker wrote. "I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some 'moral, Christian, upright man.' You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you."
"It’s sort of like everyone is anonymous. Everyone is leaking, they want you to confess to something you have no clue about," Herschel Walker said. "But it just shows how desperate they are right now. They see me as a big threat, and I know that. And I knew it when I got into this race, but they don’t realize it. I think they came for the wrong one. They energize me. They energize me, because I know how they really want to try and keep their seat."
Recent polling found Walker losing to his opponent Sen. Raphael Warnock 46.3% to 47%.
