Bragg Paralegal Admits Phone Records Deleted from Evidence

There could be a bit of a disaster for Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.

According to Jaden Jarmel-Schneider, a paralegal in Bragg’s office, not all of the evidence was turned over to Trump’s defense team.

Jarmel-Schneider confirmed that some of the phone records were not included in documentation regarding the Trump investigation.

Disaster

It just seems like Bragg’s team runs into one disaster after another when it comes to the Trump hush-money case.

The heart of the problem here is that phone records are missing regarding key conversations that took place between Donald Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, and other parties.

In one instance, Cohen is in mid-discussion when the call is suddenly ended.

Trump’s defense is pushing the narrative that Cohen had doctored the recording.

Prosecutors, however, are saying that another call came in and Cohen merely hung up from the first call.

AP reported, “Records show Cohen received a phone call about 22 seconds after the recording was cut off, according to Jarmel-Schneider’s testimony.

“Prosecutors seem to be eliciting the testimony to back up their claim that the recording wasn’t edited, but was cut short after Cohen received an incoming call.”

As we noted above, Jarmel-Schneider confirmed that certain call logs were deleted, which is not a good thing for Bragg.

Discovery requires that all materials be turned over to the defense team so they know what they are defending against.

The fact these logs are missing already has Trump surrogates and some legal experts saying this has set up the case for a mistrial.

Now, if we are being realistic, we know that Judge Merchan is not going to give Trump a mistrial.

On the bright side, this is yet more ammunition for Trump and his legal team to use on appeal.

It would not surprise me at all to see a guilty verdict come down in the trial, but I fully expect Trump to beat this case on appeal.

At the very least, any penalties will be reduced to what they should be… a fine and a slap on the hand for Trump.
