Border Patrol Union Slams Harris After Brief Visit

It’s election season, and that means photo ops for Kamala Harris at the border.

During her four years as vice president, Harris spent about 30 minutes at the border.

Well, last week she nearly doubled that total, but what she is claiming and what the Border Patrol is saying are in two different worlds.

Pants Are on Fire

Harris went to border hotspot Douglas, AZ (sarcasm is dripping), to get a few photos that she can slap in her commercials when she pretends that she wants to crack down on the border crossings.

Harris took a shot at Trump, saying he was behind the GOP blocking border money, failing to add the fact that the bill in question was also funding aid to Ukraine and Israel.

Harris visited an area in Arizona that also featured the border wall that was erected during the Trump administration, which Harris had called a “complete waste of taxpayer money” and a “medieval vanity project”

If I am being honest, I am surprised any border agents were willing to be in the picture with Harris, as I would have had to walk away rather than be used as a prop by her campaign.

After Harris’ appearance, the Border Patrol Union lit her up, stating, “Vice President Harris has ignored the border problem she created for over three years. She goes down there for 20 minutes for a photo op and decides to repeat some of the things the NPBC has said before. But again, where has she been the last 3 ½ years?”

The shots continued, “VP Harris asserted in Arizona that CBP needs more resources.

“We have apprehended over 8 million illegal immigrants over the last four years and now you realize we need more help 38 days before the election.”

Then came the real gut shot, with the Union adding, “Fact check on the Harris speech in Douglas Arizona: Today, VP Harris claimed that she played a role in increasing Border Patrol Agent overtime pay

“This couldn’t be further from the truth. As with all the things border related she was no where to be found when we needed her.”

If I were Donald Trump, I would just make a video of her Harris making the claim, then that post by the Border Patrol Union.

Honestly, Harris might lie more than Joe Biden and Donald Trump together!

And let's not forget, it was this administration that took the side of illegal immigrants over our Border Patrol agents, accusing them of whipping migrants, then never apologized when the truth came out.

Remember #whipgate? Well, I have not forgotten, and I am sure these agents haven't either.
