Body Cam In Fatal Shooting Released To Public

Ta'Kiya Young refused to comply with multiple orders issued to her by police.

So they shot her.

Now, both Young and her unborn baby are dead.

The shocking bodycam footage has been released.

If you have the stomach, you can watch it here.

Young was 21 and had two children already, aged three and six.

That does mean that she was impregnated around age 14, so it's safe to say she probably didn't have the most stable and involved parents to teach her how to treat others.

Maybe that's why she refused to listen to police.

Young was sitting in her car outside a store when officers approached her and yelled for her to "get out of the car."

She was already committing one crime by sitting in a handicapped parking spot with no visible handicap sign or sticker. Still, Young refused to comply.

Instead, she wanted to know why the officers wanted to talk to her.

"They said you stole stuff, do not leave," the cops said.

Young responded, "I didn't do shit, the other girls was taking stuff!"

An officer then slammed his fist against her car and demanded Young get out.

Another officer put his hands on the hood of her car and yelled at Young to "get out of the f**king car!"

Young started to accelerate toward him.

The officer fired a single shot.

Young's family is insisting that the girl who parked in a handicapped parking spot had not done anything wrong.

"She was so excited to have this little girl," Ta'Kiya's grandmother, Nadine Young, said. "She has her two little boys, but she was so fired up to have this girl. She is going to be so missed."

The Young family's lawyer said that "it is undeniable that Ta’Kiya’s death was not only avoidable, but also a gross misuse of power and authority."
