Of all people, Bill Clinton is trying to talk some sense into Joe Biden.
Clinton has a few words of warning regarding the immigration situation in this country.
Of course, that did not come without the obligatory shot against Republicans.
Too Many
Bill Clinton actually realizes that when you keep the borders open like this, you start to overwhelm the system.
He stated, "There is a limit to how many migrants any society can take without severe disruption and assistance, and our system is based much more on an assumption that things would be more normal."
So, Bill, do you think more than two million in a single year is a bit much?
Then he took his shot, stating, "What's happening in Venezuela, more than 2 million refugees pouring into first Colombia then nearby countries, has created unprecedented new challenges and meanwhile provides opportunities for stunts like Gov. Abbott's — sending his refugees to some place that he thinks is advocating for a broad-minded policy that it doesn't have to live with."
That criticism, however, does not make any sense.
If you say the system gets overwhelmed by these numbers, should one or two states take the brunt of it?
It would make sense that if Joe Biden is going to open our borders, every state in the country should share the burden, right?
That is exactly what Abbott is doing by sending these migrants off to cities and states that claim they are sanctuaries for them.
To that very point, Abbott stated, "Texas' inundated border towns are now receiving a measure of relief, and importantly, the magnitude of this ongoing crisis is finally gaining the national attention it deserves.
"Americans are now witnessing a startling national security failure that [President Biden] continues to dismiss."
The bottom line here is that Biden is putting this entire country at risk with this ridiculous immigration plan of his.
What is truly shocking is that Bill Clinton is the one to actually see it in the Democrat Party.
