Bill Barr 'Regretfully' Supporting Trump Over Biden

Former Attorney General Bill Barr says that he's not happy about it, but he's made his decision.

He's "regretfully" supporting Trump instead of Joe Biden this November.

Barr recently appeared on Fox News and was interviewed by Neil Cavuto.

In the interview, he implied that Donald Trump was a "threat to democracy" here in America.

However, according to Barr, Joe Biden's administration is even a "greater threat to democracy" than Donald Trump "because they’re trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech."

One doesn't have to look for to be able to see that.

Just think about all of the criminal charges that liberals have brought against Donald Trump recently, and the timing of those charges.

Instead of being charged in connection to January 6 and his hush money affair when it happened, liberals waited until Donald Trump should be out on the campaign trail convincing America that he's the right man for the job once again.

Instead, he's stuck in a courtroom in Manhattan, doing the furthest thing possible from campaigning.

Cavuto wanted to know why Barr was flipping after all of his criticisms against Trump in the past:

"You had said before you would support the Republican ticket. And you are. But he’s heading that ticket for all those warts and problems you cited. Why?" Cavuto asked.

Barr said he was "not happy" with the choice he felt forced to make:

Right. Well, you know, I’m not happy with the choice. I think this is a terrible choice for the country, but it is a choice. At the end of the day, we have to select between two different individuals. And I’ve said all along that I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think will do the least harm to the country.

And I and I think that that to me, that’s clearly Trump and the Republican administration, which I think is important. I think, you know, getting control over the border, stopping the lawlessness in our cities, building up the strength of the United States and an ever, more dangerous world, stop the avalanche of regulation that is strangling, business and our and our technological superiority. These are critical things that have to be done. And I think that, we’ll get them done under a Trump administration.

At the same time, I think the Biden administration, it is, in fact, the greater threat to democracy. I think, they they have a totalitarian temper. They have bought into the progressive movement, and they’re trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech.

Are you happy to have Barr's vote leaning Republican simply because it's the lesser of two evils?

Or should Trump be getting more credit about how good he is, not just about how bad Biden is.
