Bill Barr Definitely Backing Trump in 2024
Hell must have just frozen over.
I say this because former Attorney General William Barr, who has slammed Trump at every opportunity, is now saying that he will vote for Trump in the 2024 general election.
He is considering Trump the lesser of two evils, calling the far-left taking over the Democrat Party a “heavy-handed bunch of thugs.”
Change of Heart
Barr does not like Donald Trump, not even a little bit.
Barr and Trump had their falling out during the waning days of the administration when Trump wanted him to fight the election results.
According to Barr, there was no proof of election interference or fraud, and he was not going to make the claim just to appease Trump, so he left his post a few weeks before the change of administrations.
Barr has attacked Trump on every front, including saying that he did not believe Trump was fit for office but sees Joe Biden as less fit.
Barr stated, “The Biden administration is in fact the greater threat to democracy.”
He later added, “I think that they have a totalitarian temper. They have bought into the progressive movement. And they’re trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech.
“It’s a heavy-handed bunch of thugs in my opinion, and that’s where the threat is.”
Here is Barr talking to Fox News’ Neil Cavuto on the subject…

For all the criticism that Barr has levied at Trump, he continues to be adamant that the division was not with Trump on his policies, stating, “I was fine with his policies. I think his policies were good policies. My problems came with his behavior, which I found very troubling after the election.”
Could this be the beginning of a new wave of Trump support? It may not be the best endorsement, but right now, Trump could probably care less because he knows he needs just about every registered Republican to vote if the GOP is going to not only win the White House but also hold the House and take back the Senate.
