Joe Biden has announced his latest crazy idea:
Sit down for talks with Vladimir Putin.
Daddy Joe has one condition though: only if Putin's "ready for peace in Ukraine."
"There’s one way for this war to end in a rational way. Putin to pull out of Ukraine," Biden began. "It appears he’s not going to do that."
"Let me choose my words very carefully. I’m prepared to speak with Mr. Putin if in fact there is an interest in him deciding he’s looking for a way to end the war. He hasn’t done that."
Biden isn't making the decision all by himself though, he says that he would need the blessing of his NATO allies:
"I’m prepared if he’s willing to talk to find out what he’s willing to do but I’ll only do it in consultation with my NATO allies. I’m not going to do that on my own."
Despite saying he needed his allies to be okay with the conversation, Joe made it clear how he feels. Biden doesn't think Putin is going to be victorious in Ukraine, and even Russia knows it.
It's time to give it up.
"The idea that Putin is ever going to defeat Ukraine is beyond comprehension," Biden said.
But how does it end?
Joe Biden is willing to admit that he doesn't know either.
"The question is, how does Vladimir Putin get out of the circumstance that Vladimir Putin is in?"
