Biden: 'What am I doing?'

The White House's recent hosting of Major League Baseball's (MLB) World Series Champion - the Texas Rangers - has renewed focus on President Joe Biden's health.

This is because, during the event, according to Fox News, Biden, at one point, seemed to lose his way.

This has led many to ask how could it possibly be that Biden is running the country if he cannot even lead the Rangers through a small White House event.

This, in turn, has led to talk about whether the U.S. Constitution's Twenty-Fifth Amendment ought to be invoked to removed Biden from the presidency.

Here's what happened:

The event, which was held by the White House on Thursday, started off somewhat normally.

Biden entered the East Room of the White House. He made a few jokes - something that he has done throughout his decades as a Washington, D.C., politician. And, he even had a compliment for Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, saying, "Looking good, Nathan."

The president then proceeded to give a few remarks about the Rangers' championship run. Afterward, the team's manager, Bruce Bochy, presented Biden with a customized jersey, with which Biden proceeded to take a picture.

It was after this that Biden lost his way and was forced to ask White House personnel what he was supposed to do next.

"All right, what am I doing now?" he asked. The remark got some laughs from the players. But, this was not the end of it.

"Awkward"

Moments later, a military aide came up to Biden, which prompted the president to make a joke about whether or not the aide might be trying to "steal" his new jersey.

After the aide took the gift and walked away, Biden had another one of his awkward moments. He just stood there on the stage, seemingly having no idea what was going on. Then, as music played in the background, he raised both hands in the air.

Biden did finally manage to make it off of the stage, greeting a couple of children seated in the audience as he did so.

These incidents are not out of the ordinary for Biden. Some argue that this is a sign of Biden's cognitive deterioration. Others argue that this is proof that there is no way that Biden is running the country.

At the very least, one could conclude that it is not a good look for the United States to have a president who can't even make it through a simple ceremonial event.
