Biden Tells Reporters Why McConnell Froze at Press Conference

Joe Biden is covering for Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and that gives you a little bit of an idea why I despise McConnell so badly.

McConnell, for the second time in just a few weeks, froze before the cameras during a press conference.

Joe Biden was asked about it, and he added his two cents as to why Mitch was struggling so badly, reported Yahoo!

Part of the Process

It was not that long ago that McConnell gave a press conference and just froze like a deer in the headlights.

He was removed from the presser and taken back to his office.

Well, it happened again while Mitch was in Kentucky giving another presser.

He just stopped, nothing for about 10 seconds, and you could hear the panic in his staff’s voice as they tried to get him off the podium and away from the cameras, which they failed to do.

Joe Biden was asked if he had any input or concern about McConnell being able to do his job.

Now Joe and Mitch are old buddies, and McConnell has bailed Biden out several times already during this presidency, so I fully expected Biden to cover for him when he was asked about Mitch.

Biden stated, “Yes I have — I spoke to Mitch, he’s a friend.

“I spoke to him today, and you know, he was his old self on the telephone.”

Biden went on to say that what happened to McConnell is quite common for someone who has had a severe concussion, which McConnell got during a recent fall…

Joe and Mitch are both part of the old boy's network, and they will always cover for each other before doing their job and representing the American people.

There is no way Joe would trash Mitch because he needs him right where he is, especially with more spending measures about to come across the Senate floor.
