Biden Team Changes to ‘Lower Steps’ to Help Avoid Falls

Joe Biden is now eating at the children's table… that is the essence of what the latest White House decision means.

The Biden team has come up with the idea of allowing Joe to use the lower steps on Air Force One to avoid tripping before the cameras, which creates big headlines about his age every time it happens.

The team has made several other concessions to help Joe avoid stumbling.

The Belly of the Plane

A president getting on or off Air Force One is always a spectacle.

The large staircase that enters the plane just behind the captain is what adults use.

Generally, the only exceptions to this would be for bad weather or perhaps some type of threat, where they want to get the president on and off the plane as quickly as possible.

There is now a third exception… the Biden rule.

The official White House line as to why Joe Biden is using the lower steps is, "There are a series of factors that go into the logistical decision-making on this, including weather, what kind of airport we're landing at and whether there is a formal greeting planned for the tarmac where we expect that press will want an official photo at the bottom of the tall stairs.

"There's not one hard and fast rule — it is a decision made on a variety of factors in a wide range of settings and circumstances," reported the Daily Caller.

Honestly, I am going through the memory cards in my head and I cannot ever remember seeing the lower steps out.

The unofficial White House line… Joe is old and we are trying to protect him.

If you have noticed Joe's last few trips, he has also changed his footwear when traveling on Air Force One…

This too is a helpful tip for Joe, allowing him to wear sneakers, with a bit more grip, to help him navigate those treacherous steps.

When Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the step change, she of course had no information for the media.

She responded, "I don't have any decision process to walk through," Jean-Pierre responded. "I'm sure there's a protocol that's used for the — for Air Force One. I just don't have one," reported Fox News.

During a recent interview, Joe Biden asked Americans to watch him and judge him by what they see when his age came up.

Well, Joe, we are watching… and you are pathetic.
