Biden Taunts Media, Tells Them to Cover Economy ‘the right way’

Joe Biden is getting a little sick and tired of the negative polling about his economy.

In his world, Bidenomics is an amazing success.

In fact, during a recent exchange with a reporter, Biden scolded the media to cover his economy “the right way.”

It’s Joe’s Word…

Biden’s economy approval rating is significantly underwater, with the latest Gallup polling on the economy showing him at 32% approval rating.

It would appear that Biden believes this is all the media’s fault for how they are reporting the economy.

To that point, when a reporter asked Biden about the 2024 economy outlook, he responded, “All good. Take a look. Start reporting it the right way.”

It’s not all good, though, and it has nothing to do with reporters.

The fact of the matter is that gasoline prices are still about 50% over where they were pre-pandemic. In 2020, the national average for gasoline prices was at $2.17, and now that average, while lower than last year, is still hovering around $3.22, almost 50% higher than when Biden took office.

And as everyone knows, when gasoline prices are higher, any goods that have to be transported or that rely on gasoline for harvesting, such as groceries, those prices climb because those additional costs are passed on to consumers.

CNBC documented just how much this is impacting the average American, with savings accounts dropping from a decades-long average of about 8.9% to only 3.9% in August.

The fact of the matter is that all that “free” COVID money is gone and wages have been unable to stay on pace with inflation, so we all have less disposable income.

For the first time in our history, Americans have topped $1 trillion in credit card debt and almost half of the adults in this country have no savings, and 57% of adult Americans cannot afford a $1,000 emergency.

The numbers don’t lie… but Joe sure does.
