After Justice Amy Coney Barrett declined to hear a case against the student loan giveaway, we were all crushed.
Today, however, is a new day.
An appeals court has put a temporary hold on the program, dealing Biden a setback at the worst possible time.

The order is a result of a case being brought by six red state attorneys general.
To be clear, this is NOT the same case that the Supreme Court just denied.
The administration now had until Monday to respond to the claim.
The six attorneys general will have until Tuesday to respond to the rebuttal by the administration, then a final decision will be made.
In the meantime, people are still able to apply to the program, but the final processing of claims is halted until the legal issues have been resolved.
