White House Says Biden Still Plans on Visiting East Palestine, OH

Remember the horrific train derailment that took place in East Palestine, OH, about five months ago?

Remember when Joe Biden said he was going to visit the town? Well, Joe never did.

The White House, however, says that trip is still on Joe’s agenda, but they still will not give a date as to when that will be.

Vacation Joe

I have lost count of how many family vacations Joe Biden has taken since this accident occurred, so clearly the people of Ohio do not rate very high on Joe’s radar.

When Karine Jean-Pierre was pressed on Biden’s apparent broken promise, she turned into her usual snooty self.

KJP stated, “So, I’m just going to repeat what the president said. He will travel to the area, to East Palestine.

“Just don’t have anything to share on travel or upcoming dates that he’ll be there. But the president said it, he’s going to go. So he will go. Once we have a date, we’ll certainly share that,” reports the Daily Wire.

This is a PR disaster for Biden, and at this point, what is the purpose of even going to the city?

Biden could have actually saved face by visiting there this week with Governor DeWine requesting a disaster declaration, via Ohio.Gov, but he chose to once again let an opportunity pass.

Any visit at this point will end up being counterproductive and I would imagine the residents of the city will be furious with them and give him an earful, something Biden will surely not want to see on the evening news.

They were surely hoping this story would just die down, but that one question has the entire debacle back in the news again.

And the timing of this could not have been worse for Biden since he just took a look weekend at Camp David with Hunter and the rest of the family to celebrate Independence Day.
