Biden accused of repeating false explanation for dry hydrants as LA fires rage

Joe Biden rarely has any idea what he's talking about, but the old man just continues to flap his gum anyway.

Our president's most recent mistake is repeatedly making false claims of dry hydrants in Las Angeles as fires burn throughout the state of California.

Joe Biden, who is stumbling through the last few days of his presidency at 82 years old, claimed for a second day on January 10 that "electrical providers cut off power to the pumps that flow water to fire hydrants — even though the area’s power suppliers had insisted that statement wasn’t true."

Power utilities are claiming that this is a completely false explanation of the dry fire hydrants in California, and Joe Biden is just trying to protect California Democrats Governor Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass from bad press.

"I know you’re getting a bad rap about ‘these fire hydrants don’t have enough water in them.’ Give me a break. Give me a break," Biden told Bass and Newsom during a recent virtual meeting.

"What this is all about is the utilities, understandably, what they did is they cut off power because they’re worried about these high-tension lines coming down and causing more fires, right? And when they do that, guess what? They shut off the power that controls the ability to pump the water," Biden continued. "This is complicated stuff. You’re going to have a lot of demagogues out there trying to take advantage of it, but you’re doing the right thing."

Liberals across the nation have been refusing to take responsibility for the wildfires in California, despite Los Angeles being one of the most liberal cities in the nation. If Democrats are so good at running our lives, and they control all of Los Angeles, then why is it burning to the ground right now?

Gavin Newsom has refused to take any responsibility either, seemingly more interested in protecting what's left of his reputation instead of giving the people of California any real answers.

Two electricity providers, Southern Cal Edison and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, have both said that Joe Biden's explanation of the dry hydrants is completely wrong.

A Los Angeles Department of Water and Power spokesperson said that "LADWP water pumps and water flows were not affected by power outages. The tremendous demand for water in the Palisades, which was four times as much as our normal demand in the area, lowered the water pressure."

Southern Cal Edison added, "We have had no issues from local water agencies or firefighting agencies in our service area."

Joe Biden was lying again, and he probably knew it. It's become a pastime for America's liberals to try to avoid any and all responsibility for the problems they cause.
