Biden Repeats F-15 Comment at 2A Supporters

Joe Biden loves to talk unity when he is giving a public speech.

Put him at a private event, however, and he cannot take enough digs at conservatives.

This would include threatening them with F-15 fighter jets.

Not Enough

Biden was speaking at the National Action Network (NAN) MLK breakfast event on Monday.

This, in case you did not know, is the organization run by Al Sharpton.

Biden was discussing the Second Amendment, stating, "I love my right-wing friends who talk about the tree of liberty is water of the blood of patriots. If you need to work about taking on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don't need an AR-15."

He continued, "I'm serious. Think about it. Think about the rationale for this. It's about money."

Biden was referring to the Thomas Jefferson quote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants," which he almost got right.

This is now the second time that Biden has made that statement, having said in July 2021, "You need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons."

Biden has also repeatedly made false claims about the Second Amendment, having stated, "The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn't buy a cannon.

"The point is that there has always been the ability to limit — rationally limit — the type of weapon that can be owned and who can own it."

That, of course, is also wrong, having been debunked numerous times.

The first actual gun legislation was not passed until 1934.

For someone sitting in the White House whose primary responsibility is to uphold our Constitution, he seems to know very little about it.
