Biden Disapproval Rating Hits Record-high Amid Crisis in Israel

People have seen an awful lot of Joe Biden over the last few weeks.

Biden's health and foreign policy have been front and center since the attack by Hamas on Israel.

Based on the latest polling from CNBC, people are not liking what they are seeing from Joe.

Crash and Burn

The new numbers for Biden are absolutely horrific.

On foreign policy, Biden is only seeing a 31% approval, with just 66% of Democrats giving him a thumbs up.

On the economy, Biden is only polling at 32% approval, with only 74% of Democrats approving.

Overall, Biden has a record 58% disapproval rating, getting only 81% approval from members of his party. That is actually better than he has done in the past in terms of in-party support, but the individual markers are what are really telling the story for Biden.

Republican pollster Micah Roberts told CNBC that, “You don’t get sub-40 approval ratings without losing large chunks of your base. And that’s what’s happening here.”

Democratic pollster Jay Campbell called the results “troubling,” adding, “You start to think that maybe they’ve run out of patience, and it’s starting to show through in their decreasing regard for the president.”

I am really dialed in on the individual markers because it seems pretty clear that when people are being asked about very specific issues, they are being truthful, yet just marking off “approval” overall out of sheer loyalty to the party.

In a national heads-up poll against Trump, Biden again started to take a hit, with 46% supporting Trump and only 42% supporting Biden.

I will go out on a limb here and say people are realizing that for all his faults, we were not backing two wars when Donald Trump was in office and, prior to COVID, the economy was booming.

A recent Quinnipiac poll was almost as bad for Biden, showing a 56% disapproval rating.

It would appear that the liberal horde is finally waking up.
