Joe Biden has always maintained that not a single American soldier would put boots down in Ukraine to fight Russian soldiers.
Joe may have just gotten one step closer to breaking that promise.
Before jetting off for another weekend vacation, Biden ordered 3,000 troops activated to be deployed to Europe, reports the New York Post.
He maintains they will not be used to fight Russians, but will instead serve support roles for Ukraine and other areas of Europe.
One Step Closer
Before we get into this, let me just say, the first American soldier that dies on Ukraine soil, for any reason, we better get the impeachment ball rolling for Biden.
As far as the troops are concerned, while Biden gave the order, it may be some time before our generals are actually able to follow it.
Troops were already stretched thin with the previous deployment, so nobody is really sure right now where they are going to pull 3,000 troops for overseas duty.
Even so, Lt. Gen. Douglas Sims, the director of operations for the Joint Staff, is all-in, stating, “This reaffirms the unwavering support and commitment to the defense of NATO’s eastern flank in the wake of Russia’s illegal and unprovoked war on Ukraine,” reports Politico.
Biden also officially gave the operation a name, Operation Atlantic Resolve, sending a shiver up many a spine believing that Ukraine may have just become our next 20-year war.
Currently, we have about 100,000 troops in the European theater, which includes a steady rotation of 10,000 troops in Poland.
In addition to all of this, Biden and NATO allies agreed to supply a 300,000 rapid deployment force that could be ready to go in 30 days or less… which has everyone scratching their head as to where all these bodies are going to come from.
This order comes on the tail end of Biden agreeing to send cluster bombs to Ukraine, admitting that he did so because Ukraine is running out of ammunition and shockingly, so is the United States.
