Biden Nominated US Attorney Gets Law License Suspended

Joe Biden really has a problem with his team that is in charge of vetting candidates.

Yet another nominee of Biden’s, this time former US Attorney Rachael Rollins, is surrounded by controversy.

Rollins, who the Biden administration once touted as a “national leader,” has had her law license suspended.

Disgrace

When Biden nominated Rollins, the GOP immediately pushed back against her nomination.

At that point, the mainstream media went to work to try to protect Rollins from the hits.

For instance, an editorial in the LA Times claimed, "Rollins has been among President Biden’s smartest appointments, and if her nomination is finally approved in the Senate she would become the top federal prosecutor in Massachusetts, handling cases involving national security, white-collar crime, public corruption, cybercrime, gang violence and civil rights violations.

"Biden’s nomination of Rollins, while hardly radical, represents a threat to the Republican narrative about Democrats and crime, as do Boston’s enviable crime stats … The point is that when GOP senators claim that Rollins’ policies increase crime, they’re just making things up to justify blocking one of the nation’s most successful criminal justice leaders.”

Both Massachusetts Democrat senators raved about Rollins as well, calling her “a great choice for U.S. Attorney.”

They added, "District Attorney Rollins is a national leader on transforming the criminal justice system and shifting away from an approach based on punishment and penalization to one that combats the root causes of injustice, whether it be poverty, substance use, or racial disparity.”

Rollins was eventually confirmed, but only because the Democrats controlled the Senate.

Rollins was forced to resign her post after she was caught attending a partisan Biden fundraiser as well as having leaked “sensitive DOJ” documents to the media to help a fellow Democrat win office.

When the Inspector General’s report on the matter was released, it pretty much sealed the deal as to Rollins’ fate.

Rollins is back in the limelight for the wrong reasons, as it is now being reported that her law license has been suspended.

Her license was suspended on February 20 for not paying her registration fees.

Biden has a horrible history of nominating judges who appear to be completely unqualified. It appears Biden is more interested in putting activists on the bench than qualified jurors.

That now also appears to be the case for US attorney positions.
