Joe Biden has been in office for less than two years.
He has spent 185 days of that time in Delaware.
The cost of those trips… $11 million in taxpayer dollars.
Frequent Flyer Miles
If Air Force One and Marine One had a frequent flyer club based on Segments, Joe Biden would be a VIP.
Since taking office, Biden has racked up a total of 57 trips to Delaware.
To get back and forth, he has taken 71 flights on Marine One and 30 flights on Air Force One.
CBS correspondent Mark Knoller provided the stats.
Knoller has had the unofficial task of monitoring these flights and his reports are regularly used by the media.
The overall tab for these trips based on both Secret Service and transportation comes to about $11 million.
That is also a lowball overall estimate, as it does not factor in all the additional costs attributed to a presidential trip, such as accompanying aircraft, local police support, and accommodations for staff.
The media always made a big deal about Trump’s trip to Mar-a-Lago, but we hear nothing about Biden going to Delaware.
For me, it is the fact that with Biden there so much, why are we not getting access to the visitor logs?
If he is working all the time, as the White House insists he is doing, why are we not privy to that information?
