Biden Treasury Department Launches Investigation into Ron DeSantis

The Biden administration has no shame.

In what can only be viewed as the weaponization of the Treasury Department, an investigation has been launched into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

A Democrat Senator has asked the Treasury Department to investigate funding used to pay for the migrant flight to Martha’s Vineyard.

Take Him Out

If Donald Trump does not run, Democrats know that Ron DeSantis is, by far, the favorite in the GOP.

So, the attacks are already starting.

While DeSantis is trying to put his state back together, a Massachusetts Senator decided to have him investigated...

As you can see in that tweet, the Senator’s request was granted, and an investigation is underway.

This very well could be a double-edged sword for Democrats, though.

If they want to investigate DeSantis and come up with some charges to make him look like he did something nefarious, it will play out both ways.

We know for a fact quite a few blue states reallocated funding from the American Rescue Plan that was meant for pet projects.

If they investigate DeSantis, they must start auditing every state to account for every penny.

You can bet dollars to donuts that if they hit DeSantis, GOP Senators will make the same request of the Treasury Department.

In fact, I would be willing to wager documentation is already being put together for that very reason.

So, have at it, Senator Markey, because you are poking a bear that will bite back.
