Biden Labor Deal for Rail Union Falling Apart

There may be a rail strike very near in our future.

Earlier this week, a deal that was being brokered by the Biden administration ended up in the shredder.

If this strike happens, our supply chain will be crippled, and it will all be on Joe Biden.

Nope!

Members of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division shot down the proposal with a vote of 6,646-5,100.

The deal would have given workers a 24 percent pay increase over the life of the deal, but workers voted against it.

They had other issues top of mind that outweighed their wage increase.

For instance, that nuisance called quality of life.

BMWED President Tony Cardwell stated, "Railroaders are discouraged and upset with working conditions and compensation and hold their employer in low regard.

"Railroaders do not feel valued.

"They resent the fact that management holds no regard for their quality of life, illustrated by their stubborn reluctance to provide a higher quantity of paid time off, especially for sickness."

This would be a failure of epic proportions for Joe Biden who has been pushing unions down our throats for years.
