Biden is caught on the beach . . . again
Joe Biden - the ostensible president of the United States - is still on vacation.
The New York Post, among others, has published photographs showing the supposed commander-in-chief taking it easy on a beach.
This is despite the fact that Biden has insisted, even though he is not running for reelection, he will finish his term strongly.
The photographs would suggest otherwise. In fact, the significant amount of time that Biden has spent on vacation only bolsters the claim that he is not really the one running the country.
The details
According to the Post's report, it would appear that Biden is on a seriously extended vacation.
"President Biden began his second consecutive week of vacation Monday with nothing on his public schedule for the next seven days — despite claiming he would remain engaged in pushing policy and legislation during the final months of his term," the outlet reports.
It continues, "Biden, 81, arrived at his Rehoboth Beach, Del., vacation home Sunday after six nights with his family at the Santa Ynez, Calif., ranch of billionaire Democratic donor Joe Kiani — who earned at least $3 million in federal contracts since Biden took office."
The Post reports that "the president will remain at the shore at least through Friday, according to a public schedule released by the White House."
One would have thought that it would be impossible for the president of the United States to take such an extended vacation, given all of the problems that the country is facing.
So, who is running the country?
If Biden - the ostensible president of the United States - is spending weeks at beaches, then the question that arises is who really is running the country. After all, surely, Biden is not running America from the beach.
We, of course, do not really know the answer to this question.
Maybe it is Vice President Kamala Harris, but this does not seem likely. Maybe it is former President Barrack Obama. Maybe it is all of the Obama and Clinton officials with whom Biden has surrounded himself.
Whatever the case may be, it is fairly safe to assume that it is not Biden, the man whom Americans are said to have put in the White House.
Instead, it is some individual(s) whom Americans did not knowingly elect, which does not sound very Democratic. Wasn't it the Democrats who were supposed to be the party of Democracy? This myth, by now, has been obliterated.
