Hunter Biden Indicted on Three Counts

It finally happened.

Hunter Biden has been indicted on charges related to him lying on the forms when he purchased a weapon about five years ago.

The report broke on Thursday, and the mainstream media is already trying to make excuses for Hunter.

Bad Week

It has been a rough week for the Biden family.

On Tuesday, House Speaker McCarthy (R-CA), only days after announcing any impeachment inquiry in the House would have to be voted on, decided to put the vote aside and direct the House to open the impeachment inquiry.

Then, on Thursday, news broke that Hunter Biden was going to be indicted on gun charges, reported NBC News.

The Hammer Falls

Special Counsel David Weiss has been raked over the coals for his handling of this investigation.

Hunter had almost gotten off with a soft slap on the wrist, but that all changed when a judge rejected a plea deal that would have given Hunter immunity on future charges.

Weiss' office announced a three-count indictment against Hunter Biden, stating, "Hunter Biden knowingly made a false written statement on the Form 4473, intended and likely to deceive the dealer." Then, "during an 11-day period between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23, 2018, Hunter Biden possessed a firearm while knowing he was an unlawful user of or addicted to [drugs], in violation of federal law."

The first charge is False Statement in Purchase of a Firearm. The second charge is False Statement Related to Information Required to be Kept by Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer. Finally, the third charge is Possession of a Firearm by a Person who is an Unlawful User of or Addicted to a Controlled Substance.

The announcement did not appease the GOP.

Rep. Comer (R-KY) stated, "That's one of about a dozen crimes that Hunter Biden's committed, and ironically that's the one crime that he committed that you cannot tie Joe Biden into.

"So, we'll see what happens with the other 11 or so crimes that the president's son's committed," reported the New York Post.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) added, "getting Hunter on the gun charge is like getting Jeffery Dahmer on littering."

There are already those saying these charges are politically motivated and people are never indicted on these charges.

Kodak Brown, a rapper, refuted that. His attorney noted that Brown was given a 46-month sentence for putting down the wrong social security number on his gun purchase forms.

Attorney Bradford Cohen posted, "2 tiers of justice? Kodak was charged for the same crime. Got over 3 years. Mr. Biden will not serve a day. Feels right?"

Weiss has never intended to charge Hunter Biden with anything, but after whistleblower testimony revealed how rigged this investigation has been, it would appear that Weiss has finally caved and started to do his job.
