Biden Had a Really Bad Day in Normandy

This week, Joe Biden headed over the big pond to France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

This is a day in history our country will never forget, as ordinary men performed feats of bravery that no man will hopefully ever have to duplicate.

Sadly, it was also a day when Joe Biden was put on display for the entire world to see, and it was not pleasant.

Bad Day for Joe

The gaffes and video bombs started as Joe was arriving at the event.

He exited his SUV and stood there clueless for about a minute, which had to seem like an eternity to the agents working his security detail.

Then, as Joe arrived at the venue with French President Macron, Biden told him, “My advance team said I got to be the first one to leave because I hold people up.”

That clip will likely appear in every Trump ad leading up to the election to counter the Democrats' claims that Joe Biden is “sharp as a tack.”

When Biden was on stage, he was to remain standing while Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was introduced, but Biden tried to sit down, with Jill clearly trying to give him directions on what to do.

The day ended with Biden being rushed off the stage by Jill while President Macron remained behind greeting veterans of the war.

Joe Biden’s speech that day was not much better, filled with the usual slurs and awkward pauses, and a dash of confusion.

This comes on the tail end of a report by the Wall Street Journal that painted a picture of despair behind the scenes regarding Biden’s clear mental deterioration.

The White House and Democrats all reacted to the report, with the Biden administration even blowing up the phones of fellow Democrats, telling them to respond if the WSJ contacted them for a comment on the piece.

This is not about picking on Joe Because he is a Democrat, but about being honestly worried because our enemies and adversaries are jumping all over this to take advantage of a weak occupant in the Oval Office.

Does anyone really think Biden is ready for a marathon session in the Ready Room or to negotiate with someone like President Xi?

This country has fallen into the trap of voting on recognition rather than abilities, of voting for personality over policy, and that has put a literal puppet in the White House. While we have our ideas, nobody knows who is really calling the shots in D.C. except for Biden insiders.
