Joe Biden has just announced that he will spend $400,000,000 on security.
Most Americans were overjoyed to hear the news, assuming that finally something was going to happen like fixing our southern border.
Then came the caveat. The 400,000,000 of security dollars isn't for America.
It's for Ukraine.
Look, I understand that Russia shouldn't just be decimating a country for the fun of it, but it isn't America that's currently engaged in war with them. America's government and America's tax dollars should ALWAYS be focused on protecting Americans, and right now our country is too much of a mess to keep sending millions and millions and millions and millions to Europe.
Russia is doing the attacking, Ukraine is doing all they can, and we know China is firmly behind Russia. Excluding America, that leaves 191 other nations standing around watching the conflict.
What are THEY doing to help Ukraine?
America is in the middle of once-in-a-lifetime crises on multiple different fronts.
Food prices are at an all-time high, gas prices have surged since Biden took office, our southern border is keeping nobody out, fentanyl poisoning is threatening to destroy a generation, and we're about to pay for everyone else's college debt.
America has PLENTY of problems that $400,000,000 could have gone a long way toward fixing, if only our President's focus was on helping the people of the United States of America.
Instead, we're sending that money to Europe. Putin must be stopped, but at what cost?
