The problem for Joe Biden with minority voters continues to roll downhill.
Biden is now polling just above 60% with black voters.
This is a demographic dominated by Democrats in the past, with Biden even winning more than 90% in the 2020 election.
Bad Day for Democrats
The latest EPIC-MRA delivered horrific news for Democrats in Michigan.
Donald Trump is now leading Biden in the battleground state by five points, 46-41%. Keep in mind, this is a state that was won by Biden in 2020 51-48%, so this is a pretty big swing.
Why the difference? That would be because Joe Biden is losing the minority vote in the state.
Currently, Biden is only polling at 62% among black voters, with a whopping 17% supporting Trump (GOP usually only sees single-digit support among black voters).
If Haley is the nominee, the numbers are even worse for Biden, with Haley holding a 47-36% edge, and most of them have no idea who she is, just that she is not Joe Biden.
EPIC-MRA pollster Bernie Porn stated, "Democrats ought to be aware there is a growing possibility that Donald Trump may become president again.”
As with other demographics, age is a concern, with Porn explaining, "I think it’s [Biden's] age and comparative perceptions of him versus Trump.
"People are dismissing the Bidenomics approach — they're not impressed with that messaging."
The amusing aspect of all this is that Trump has not really campaigned in Michigan and he has barely pushed his agenda.
Trump’s rallies and social media attacks are usually complaining about the Dems weaponizing the system against him, making fun of Ron DeSantis’ cowboy boots and height, and saying that Casey DeSantis looks like a vampire.
Yet, somehow, he has flipped the script on Biden and he is dominating the GOP primary race.
Imagine what happens if Trump ever decides to actually talk about policy.
