Joe Biden may have just upset the liberal horde.
A reporter finally got Biden to answer a question regarding restrictions on abortion.
Although his answer was vague and insulting, he finally admitted that some restrictions should be in place.
Not the Party Line
For the most part, Democrats have wanted no restrictions in place for abortions.
Getting party leadership to commit to a position has been an utter nightmare.
As Biden was headed out on Marine One, he finally answered the question.
Owen Jensen of Catholic news outlet EWTN asked, “Should there be any restrictions on abortion at all?”
Biden responded, “Yes, there should be.”
Jensen followed up, “What should they be?”
Biden snapped back, “Roe v. Wade, read it, man. You’ll get educated.”
Biden, as usual, is wrong.
Roe v. Wade allowed for exceptions but did not lay them out.
The Supreme Court ruling allowed abortions through the second trimester while allowing states to impose their own regulations through the second trimester and outright banning abortion in the third.
A 1992 ruling dialed back the time frame between 23 to 24 weeks.
So, perhaps Joe Biden should read the law to get educated.
